Changes well afoot.

Dear Friends, 


In a desperate attempt to try and remain hip and relevant, I am giving a spring clean to some elements of this page so that it reflects my current interests, passions and misdirected beliefs.


I am always open to your recommendations however.

Perth has had funny temperatures this year.  Day after day of temperatures in the mid 30c's ( thats between 86f and 100f for my friends in other locals).  Not super hot (as in low 40c's) but at night we only dip to around 18c.  The constancy of the heat is wearing.  Taxing.  You function. You perform.  But you don't really rest well.  Air conditioning is helpful, but drying too. In these times I think of the north.  The heat leaves me feeling like a stranger in my own land. I long for something I can't quite put my finger on. It is the shadow in the corner, the shudder if the curtains, the train just missed, it is the north. the in, the out and the other

in are hope coffee at dawn soft breezes to wake you children's books long afternoons which of course i was made for bills paid meditation mediation medication co operation all sorts of ations except for alienation which is out i mean' who wants aliens anyway! soft beds are a must cups of tea at 3 on line poetic thoughts and music of all persuasion out are most things i hate which is fine 'cos this is my blog anyway stress is out big time so are bombastic rockers strung out on their own importance hate of all descriptions designs dimensions and detail in fact most details are out too the unnecessary is out as are the unscrupulous and unsavoury but the unusual unusable or undone can stay the other is just there so listen

when you get what you want ..

nak arrives at work early a day in which nothing is planned nothing prepared nothing required only to be there "your presence is required" like a call to jury duty nak finds this hard inspite of his contemplative nature the world n work n others have made him more a do-er a mover but not shaker and to be, not do as he is now called is alien n frightening he travels over to the temple and celebrates the mystery with a guru whose english requires him to repeat everything he says which makes the celebration interesting to say the least spends some time getting to know his new surroundings moving quietly between buildings stealthily listening to classes watching the place in action humming like a machine bells ring humanity floods coffee is consumed brief conversations ensue much time is spent sitting watching waiting thinking reading guilt floods in periodically n moments of self doubt require attention there is much to be undone unlearnt reestablished healed nak must give himse...
